More soon!

NAMM 2017

We’re happy to announce that we’ll be returning to the winter NAMM show this year in Anaheim.  It’s been several years since we ventured to California for the show and figured it was about time we re-emerged to visit with dealers, importers, vendors and industry friends.

This year we’re sharing a booth with Reverend Guitars (www.reverendguitars.com) .  Ken, Penny, and the rest of the Reverend crew have been kind enough to make some for some Carr product!  Our plans are to bring a good cross section of the Carr lineup, including the new and improved Mercury V for all to sample.

Come see us at NAMM booth #5793 in Hall B.

Mercury V intro

Transmissions from Mercury

We're currently prototyping the new Mercury V...

More power, more charecter...Steve is very close to finalizing the circuit.  Slight cabinet tweak for a new aesthetic.

We will be taking orders through our fine dealer network by Dec. 1!

Lincoln Cabinet Design

Lou Building
Steve and George

We made three prototype cabinets designs for the Lincoln before settling on the final look.
Each had an interesting vibe but the final design sounded best, looked best, and balanced best when being carried.
Lots to consider!   Here is the sketch that led to the final cab and a shot of that concept being made.
- plus the earliest cab design we did in February 2015  - the photo is me showing it to George of Chicago Music Exchange.
We go thru a ton of trial and error in both the circuit and cabinet development!

Reviving a Flooded Impala

One of our favorite customers recently called us with the sad news that his beloved Impala had been in a flood, and spent several days completely submerged.
Over the next few weeks, we're going to be documenting the restoration of his amp. First up: Taking it apart, and assessing the damage. Stay tuned !
